I saw this at WalMart last night. Kinda irritated me, because nowhere, description or anything, did it specify WHICH Dawn it was, unless you read through the special features and saw the name "Zach Snyder" or read the copyright dates at the bottom, and it said "George A Romero's masterpiece" all over it. There weren't even any pictures for anything but Land, which lead even me, at first, to think it was a new release of DotD78. I'm not sure if any of the special features were new or not. The list of special features looked identical to the ones I had before. Anyone checked?

I'm sure its convient for anyone who doesn't already have them. I've got them both on HD DVD, so I wouldn't need this.

I didn't see it at wal-mart. But if you go to hastings they sell the remake and land of the dead for like $9.

I have them both, as well. I just thought maybe there were some new features or something nifty inside the new packaging to be worth more than convenience for those who don't already own them seperately.

I bought it and no it doesn't. Buit then again I don't know about wal-mart's deal so I'm no help.

Universal's doing this a lot with their titles lately. It's not just horror films either, they're throwing out John Candy sets, Tom Hanks sets, etc. All the DVDs in these sets are the exact same thing that had been out separately at one time or another with the exception of very few, only one I can think of is PSYCHO IV.
So as everyone's pretty much said, if you already own these there's nothing new here.

I bought it just because I thought the art work was cool and it was $9.00 at best buy. Inside are the Unrated Version of DAWN 04 and the UNrated LAND cut. Basically it is the same DVD as their respective self releases just packaged as a box set.

What I want to know, is how such a crap movie can be amalgamated with a good movie. Land of the :poo: should not be in the same box as Dawn04. If Land of the :poo: was boxed with Dawn78, I would start a furious global public protest!
