Cheap EFX? Have you seen most low budget zombie films lately? Most of the zombies consist of gangs of ghouls with fake blood and powder thrown on their faces whereas this film actually used masks and latex to bring forth some gooey goodness to the screen.

The acting wasn't great, but it wasn't awful and I personally thought the plot was interesting and definitely a different take on bringing the dead back to life. The ghouls thing threw me for a loop but the zombies were awesome, fully decayed and falling apart rank high in my book.

I liked it. one of the best indie zombie flicks out there.. alot better then some half assed crap that evil zombie mentioned.

The facial makeup was great all decayed and cob-webby then take a look at thier hands. Nice, clean, non-decayed... and wearing the same wedding band in almost every shot.

That, and the sampling rate for the audio was way too high... I just couldn't get into this movie. I wanted to, but couldn't. I would say watch the movie once, but that'll be enough.
