Yeah, when I heard it, I had to remember who it was, surprised it sounds a lot like Nicholson's character. But hopefully he brings his own ideas and style to it as well.

I dont really like the look of joker for this one. and the stills of batman in direct light just make him look like a fictional character....

It'll also be interesting to find out if Harvey Dent has his accident in this one or if they'll wait for another sequel for his story and revenge to develope.

But I am excited and can't wait for it next year!

You gotta love everything about the first movie. Something that makes the trailer sound so great is the script the writer(s) have worded it in a way that is immediately captivating.

Damn that looks so damn good that image. At first I kind of dismissed Heath as the joker because he just didn't seem to have the look. But he looks pretty good in the photos and the research he is doing on the character seems pretty solid. For instance reading the "The Killing Joke" and basing his character on that seems like he really wants to be true to the character.

Empire Online are slowly revealing what looks to be a new image of Heath Ledger as The Joker in The Dark Knight which might be on the cover of an upcoming issue for the magazine.

As of right now, (11/26/07), all that's revealed is his feet. Guess they'll reveal more every couple of days or something...

Saw the Dark Knight trailer too at the release yesterday and yes its truly awesome. In one scene, the Joker is sniping with some serious firepower!!! This movie really makes this out to be a real serious matter and not a comical fashion. Batman is either going to get his ass kicked in this movie or have the fight of his life!

I know, it was just a poor choice of words. I think the costume is great, as long as it's not a rehash of the Batman Forever costume/cod-piece...I'm good. The costume is completely secondary for me, I'm a man of the story and getting it right.

I wanna bump this thread back up, because its honestly my most anticipated film for this year. I just can not wait.

Aaron Eckhart stated in an interview that two-face will make an appearance. Source (http://www.firstshowing.net/2008/03/07/aaron-eckhart-confirms-two-face-and-two-performances-in-dark-knight/). I am guessing that it will probably be at the end of the movie, as at the end of Begins we were introduced to the idea of The Joker. Bringing us into the 3rd installment. I am quite excited, and with the atmosphere of Nolan's Batman films Two-Face is going to be hard to pull of realistically. But I have major faith.

The new trailer is awesome, but I liked the first theatrical trailer a little better. It was probably because it was the first time seeing the joker in action, which was amazing.

ZombiesAteMyDog
05-08-2008, 04:11 PM
here is what is being called " a leaked , early concept" of what two face will look at, looking at the pic you posted and the way the little bits of scaring you can see looks this may actualy be somewhat how he will look, though to be honest im not sure if its legit or not, but either way its fun to look at and speculate.

Yeah I saw that image... it looks fake to me, but I am sure that its more then likely based on what he will probably look like. I am also not sure on how Two-Face was created in the comic, but in the trailer it looks as if he gets his face burnt.

Fang
05-09-2008, 10:13 PM
That image is fake, it's just an artist rendering. Warner Brothers is throwing a fuss about it though, making websites that have it posted remove it, which means it's probally really close, if not exact to how it's going to be in the film.

This was the best movie probably ever..... I was so in love with every character it was nuts!

I was able to go to the Imax premiere to see this and dressed up as the joker and it was pretty much amazing. There were several people dressed as batman characters and everyone was having so much fun....They even had the news people there interviewing movie goers and filming the huge lines waiting to get in to the theaters

So basically if anyone tells you this movie wasn't very good, then they're dumb. Don't listen.

It was Heath Ledgers best performance in my opinion and half the time you really can't even tell that it's him.

So good....I get goosebumps just thinking about it!!!!!!

Saw it during the midnight showing. It was beyond incredible! Probably my favorite movie. Yes a lot of hype for Heath Ledger, and honestly I was pumped about it before his death, so that had no effect on me. His performance was one of a lifetime. I didn't even believe it was him, I really believed that it was The Joker. Also Aaron Eckhart was incredible too at his role(s). Both of them really overshadowed Christian Bale not to say he did a bad job. Anways fantastic film, I'm gonna go see it a few more times. Cant wait to add this to my movie collection.

11 out of 10.

I am not at all suprised by the numbers that this movie is recieving. I absolutely loved this movie! Everyone's performances were amazing (I especially liked the Joker's "Magic Trick" near the beginning  ), and it had a stellar story to go with it. The fights and car chase scenes kept me glued to my seat, and the long run time was acually a big positive for me (just more story to appreciate). I do agree that Christain Bale's voice when wearing the Batman mask was kinda odd, but it sort of made sense since he was trying to conceal his identity. I give this film a 5 out of 5, and I will DEFINATELY get this one on DVD!

***SPOILERS!!!***

I thought it was a great flick. Ledger's Joker was suitably dark, yet still a whole lot of nasty fun. Two-face's CGI face was a little daft looking, and I could have done without Batman's watery-eyed speach at the end... but all-in-all, a GRADE-A flick!

Caught a late showing of this last night and thought it was bloody brilliant! Top notch film from start to finish. Ledger's Joker is brilliant, completely different from Jack Nicholson's but a perfect combination of dark sadism and a quirky sense of humour. Maybe it was a little too long but I was actually dissapointed when it ended cos I wanted more!

To anyone who thought Bale's voice was over the top in The Dark Knight, have you even seen Batman Begins? There's a scene in that where he is asking a dirty cop where some drugs are and it's seriously worse than anything in TDK. BTW, Batman Begins and Dark Knight are definitely the best Batman movies. Can't wait for the next one. Christopher Nolan is AWESOME!

P.S. Speaking of Bale and Nolan, watch The Prestige. It's a drama, but it is GREAT!!!!!!!

I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it.

I believe Heath's portrayal of the Joker was probably the best acting he'd ever done. If he wasn't in this movie, it wouldn't have been half as successful.

After Batman Begins' cruddy villains, the Joker was a breath of comic book fresh air!

Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard did an amazing job with the music! Probably one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever made IMO

And another thing... how many Brits were in the movie? w00t!
