Steric acid for headshots (anyone with Dead and Deader, please read)

If you have Dead and Deader on DVD, pop it in and check out the bonus features and the making of stuff. Seems he used a blowgun loaded with steric acid "bullets" at close range to simulate headshot entry wounds.

Anyone else know anything about this?
