Also known as EVIL GRAVE: CURSE OF THE MAYA

Synopsis Renee Summers has just been released from a mental hospital when her fiance and psychiatrist, Jeffrey Morgan, buys her a mysterious, secluded cabin.

Renee soon befriends her only neighbor, Michael Richards (David Heavener: Prime Target, Fugitive X), who is not all what he seems to be. She also uncovers a deadly secret; The former tenants, a Mayan family, were butchered to death and dumped in an unmarked grave.

Unfortunately for Renee and Jeffrey, the Mayan family's grave is discovered to be empty, and now...the dead are walking! And they are hungry! And they are out for revenge! Just when Renee is about to meet her doom, she is rescued by a long time friend of the Mayan family, Alfredo Rubin (Todd Bridges: Different Strokes).

Renee soon discovers she must give the family a proper ritualistic burial in order to reverse the curse that haunts them and let the dead return to their graves. But, she's running out of time to perform the proper ceremony before the entire earth and mankind itself becomes infected by the "CURSE OF THE MAYA".

I picked up this dvd fairly cheap at Wal-Mart, not a great zombie movie, but a welcome addition to my collection. Just a bit of warning to all the zombie fans out there, rent it before you buy it!

i picked this up from amazon a while back, mainly because the front cover looked good. To sum it up it wasnt the worst film Ive seen. The zombies were pretty good, and i didnt want to turn it off, half way through like when i watched HOTD the other day:doh:. To be honest it might not be that much more to buy it than rent it.

I got this Yesterday at WalMart. I watched the first 15 minutes and my girlfriend made a comment, so I figured it was futile to try to watch it then. Doesn't seem to promising, though.

Saw this on the shelf at BB a week or so ago, but I was with the wife so there was no point in evening picking it up to read the back. Maybe it's something that would be fun to watch one day while she's at work.
