I just got done watching this one, not a half bad flick but moves incredibly slow and once the zombies get there, they leave just as quickly. Definitely 80's, cheestastic in every sense of the world but awesome zombie efx, not heavy on the gore though.

Anyone seen or heard of this flick? Thoughts on it?

Synopsis; Nichelle Nichols is an army sergeant who leads her platoon into the woods of the deep south on a training exercise. Unfortunately, it is the site where a bunch of Yankee soldiers murdered a town of Confederates. The corpses of the dead soldiers rise up to wreak revenge.

I've got this one on VHS in a box somewhere. Watched it once. It's okay, finely aged 80's cheese for sure. I was kind of surprised at the severe lack of gore on this one but the zombies did look pretty good... what little you see of them.

One thing about 80's cheesefests that you can always depend upon is really bad lightning/magic/laser effects and this movie doesn't fail. It's nothing great but nothing too terrible either. Worth watching at least once but no need to go gung-ho tracking down a copy.

No, that's actually a completely different film but has the same theme as confederate zombies. The "zombies" in this film are a bit more like ghosts but come off more as zombies, the zombies in CURSE are no doubt, well zombies.
