Horror of Party Beach

This movie was filmed in 1964, mostly at Calf's Pasture Beach in Norwalk, CT. It's a pretty much ridiculous movie, but I'm sure back in the day it got a few screams in the theater. A skeleton mingles in the water with some sort of poisonous what-not, which then produces a 'zombie' which looks much like the creature from the black lagoon, but 'whatever'! Scary scenes with girls at sleepover parties ensue, it's campy, I won't lie.
My Dad, Uncle Arnie, and family friend Frank are among the bikers in the film that race the main characters at the beginning of the film, and whoop some butt on the beach. They were real members of a bike gang back then, called "Charter Oak", which still exists in that area today (in Stamford, Connecticut). My Dad at that time was president. He said the filmmakers approached him and asked if his gang would like to be in the movie, that's how it happened. Dad said that while they were filming, the filmers did NOT tell them what to do after they stopped filming while they were in a racing scene. Half the guys kept going, the other half apparently stopped. My father ran over the guy in front of him just as the film shoot stopped, when the guy stopped short in front of him.... broke a few ribs, but the guy lived.
I have a copy of the movie on cassette tape, and the comic book type movie booklet, too. My Dad's shining moment on screen (aside from a brief counting skit on Sesame Street as he rolled boxes out of his tractor trailer as kids counted them! LOL)
Here's the link to the Horror of Party Beach trailer. Don't be afraid! HEHE
