Hey guys, just heard about this one through Amazon and couldn't find anything on IMDB for it. Anyone know anything about this?

War breaks out worldwide. In desperation world leaders engage Biological weapons, which quickly mutate and cause the dead to rise. The epidemic spreads faster that any one could imagine. The only safe place for the few remaining humans to survive is a nuclear fallout shelter, but getting there is the problem. A Special Forces agent is assigned to escort America s leaders to the location, but the plane crashes a few miles short of their destination. Caught in a tropical setting, those that survive are pitted against hordes of flesh eating zombies. A battle ensues, but when the end is near will humanity prevail, or will mankind fall to the rising dead?

Sounds like it could be a pretty decent flick although York Entertainment releasing the film kind of bothers me. Haven't seen much of anything of theirs that's really grabbed me. Thoughts?

say wha?? Americas leaders would go to the nuclear fallout shelter thats in Washington. They've had a procedure for getting to a shelter for decades. WTH would they be flying to the tropics to get to a fallout shelter?

Looks like Christopher Lambert reprising his role as Highlander to fight the zombie horde at a demolition site. I could go for a rental on this one. Oh, and get a load of the guy with the walker. Seems to move pretty good when you put some zombies behind him.

Oooh, this was so bad it was funny.

SPOILERS

Our 'hero' who is the also writer, director, producer, etc along with his brother is also the worst actor in the film. He's a special ops, nuclear reactor engineer, who at a range of 5 feet, shoots a zed 8 times without ever hitting its head!

Trivial fact: small aircraft are apparently made of rusted corrugated tin?? In the beginning, are living actors are in a plane crash, 6 of them are tossed 30 to 50 feet from the plane with NO injuries. One of them is under a sheet of rusted corrugated metal.

This was the first actor ever to ever actually bring a movie down for me...I mean really, his presence knocked the film down to an inescapable level. Him and that...monologue of his. Oh boy...

Well, that looks kinda fun n' cheesy. Looks like its got a lot of hot zombie chicks so that's something. The question is: are we actually gonna see this or is it going to be another Automation Transfusion.

The directors of "The Rising Dead" told me that there were huge amounts of gore in this film:is it true?
