Upcoming Brazilian zombie flick

Directed by Davi de Oliveira Pinheiro and set for release November 2, 2008, BEYOND THE GRAVE claims influences ranging from the undead cinema of George A. Romero to William Friedkin’s ’70s output and Sergio Leone’s spaghetti Westerns. The storyline follows a cop named Lockheart (Rafael Kerber), who pursues a serial killer through postapocalyptic Brazilian streets that have been overrun by bloodthirsty ghouls.

Could be fun! Then again...it very well may not be. I'll give it a shot when it hits shiny.

Good looking makeup! I love teasers that don't really show a whole lot so this one has definitely got my interest.

Hell, it barely shows anything. Just enough to say "good zombie!". :)

I like the idea. The fact that the hero will continue to pursue a criminal when, in a sense, the whole world is going to hell, is something unique for the zombie genre. Usually we see criminals reluctantly accepted for the sake of survival. Plus I love westerns, spaghetti and American.

Best of all, there could be some foxy, big bootied, thong wearing, chicks with Brazillian waxes!

Bit of a long wait though.

i found it strange its being shot in 35mm. quite expensive; these folks have dough.
