Watched nothing but goodness yesterday!
The Adventures Of Brisco County Jr. The pilot and the first two episodes - Great show! I can't believe I've waited so long to check this one out. I was immediately addicted.
Shaolin VS Evil Dead - Another great Jiang Shi flick. This one has the traditional hopping zombies/vampires plus a horde of Romero type shamblers! Lots of fun Taoist priest magic & Kung Fu as well. The ending leaves you going "huh?" but that's not too unusual for a Kung Fu flick. Loved it!
Severance - Really good flick! Lots of dark laughs and a knife insertion that will make anyone sick to their stomach.
Two episodes of The Three Stooges
Spook Louder
Mummy's Dummies

thats they guy that went to college or something with MM right? I only caught an inteview on one of the big news networks.. didnt see the showdown.
I think you're talking about the wrong guy... Mike Wilson is a little bit too young to have attended school at the same time Michael Moore did... I believe you are referring to is Kevin Leffler who was supposedly a childhood friend of Michael Moore, who is currently making a film titled "Shooting Michael Moore."
Here's a piece I saw with him on Hannity's America: Hannity's America - Interview about Michael Moore (8/5/07) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2AlYoHPLgI)
I for one cannot stand MM's work. I guess you can call me a right wing but i still saw Farenheit 911 in the theater.. like to see others opinions.. he just never shows both sides.
He's no different than Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly or Al Franken because they are all propagandists... They only tell one side of a story, and they never reveal the whole truth... Even if they are aware of facts that disproves their argument, they will never reveal that contradictory information.

Baraka - This was amazing. When I found out what it was, I figured I'd get bored and turn it off but I was mesmerized for 96 minutes. It's a non verbal trip around the world times three, evoking every emotion. Beautiful film!
Alien Apocalypse - "B" movie goodness
Incubus (1965) - I was expecting more from this. Didn't much care for it.

he got busted for being a hack, huge scandal and controversey, in between shots he would go stay at hotels, and alot of the things on the show were "faked" like his shoes melting on the lava or the gas vapors from the lava were a smoke machine, the episode where he "caught" a "wild" mustang to ride was actualy 4 broken rodeo horses they trucked in from a local ranch, he wore a life vest when "rafting" down the river with his duffle pack, wore a harnass when he descended the sliperey wet vine by the waterfall and much more
there was a huge deal over it , I guess they are bringing the show back on but now they have to say that its not real survival and he has to preface it by saying its just entertainment and re-enactments
my absolute favorite though is this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzxsqkxHDVQ makes me laugh every time

Just got back from seeing The Kingdom. Very good flick with alot of action and very high tension situations. Had to have a message at the end which I thought was kinda lame, but I guess they had to put something like that in somewhere so none of the touchy feely types out there would get offended and start crying about it on the news.
Also purchased a two pack of Grumpy Old Men and Grumpier Old Men. The wife LOVES both those movies and we only have them on VHS somewhere up in the attic. Picked the pair up for $7.50 at Target.

I watched The Woods last night. Not bad, however the story seemed muddy. I'm still not quite clear what the witches were trying to accomplish. There were some cool visuals but not enough to make up for a fuzzy story. Bruce Campbell's small part made it worth watching though. The one liner spoken by his wifes character for him to comment on was apparently written in just for the Campbell fans. Sorry Lucky, this is no May.

I just finished watching The Mummy (1999). I really wasn't expecting much and I got a pleasant surprise. The Mummy himself was cool as shit! I love it when he roars and opens his mouth waayyy too far. The humor was a kick as well. My only complaint was that some of the CGI was way too plastic and needed to be somewhat subdued. Overall though, a fun flick that the whole family can enjoy. (My five year old watched it with me and he loved it.)

I'm working night shift tonight, so at about 12:30 I went by Wal-Mart to pick up Transformers, Planet Terror and Return to House on Haunted Hill. There was one person in the media section and she was very quick to inform me that the stock clerk responsible for putting out the new DVD's every Tuesday always waits until about 7 am on Tuesday morning to do so. In fact, even as big a release as the Transformers is, she had only left a measly 4 copies of it out just in case anyone came in looking for it in the middle of the night. She left 2 of the regular movie and 2 of the double disc set. Unfortunately for me, though, the lazy bitch didn't leave ANY of Planet Terror or Haunted Hill out, so now I've got to wait until sometime tomorrow to pick them up which ruins my plans of watching one of them when I get home in the morning and then the other before I come back to work tomorrow night. Lifeblood (from Tomb Of Terrors 50 movie pack) - I only made it about 30 minutes into this one. It's almost unwatchable due to poor lighting but at least there was some blood.

They issue us a .38 revolver for a back up weapon, but I went out and bought a Glock 27 which holds 10+1 and qualified with it instead. I just don't see the point of carrying that .38 which only gives me 5 shots when I can carry this small Glock and still use my regular magazines with it, giving me 41 shots which is MUCH better odds IMO!! BTW ZK, glad to hear you're gonna be around for another few weeks!!!

Murder Party - Loved it! Original, funny & messy. Highly recommended.
Plane Dead - Aside from a bulletproof plane and overly noticeable CGI, FOTLD is a fun flick. As the characters are developed, you can pretty much guess which ones will become zombies. There's some memorable kills and underlying dark humor. As a zombie fanatic, it's a must see but not one that I'm going to rush out to add to my shelf.

300 - I really didn't have any desire to watch this, but after hearing everybody's feedback I felt like I had to check it out. Wow! Damn good!!
The Fly (1958) & Return of the Fly (1959) - Classic goodness.
Night of the Lepus - Genetically mutated, giant killer rabbits. Hell Yeah!!! What's not to like? Plus it co-stars DeForest Kelley.
make sure you go on youtube and watch the 300 g rated version.. very funny.

His coffee house poetry slam crap is what soured the whole movie for me. Oh, and the way he would look off to the side and say, "Hello!" whenever there was an awkward moment really got under my skin. They should've revolved the entire movie around the scenes at his parents' house. Those were hysterical!!!

I agree , every scene with his parents was priceless, but my fav scenes were with anthony lapaglia , my fave 2 are the scene with the airplane pilot, and the one at the end where he is interogating the wife and you can clearly hear them on the roof

I left one off of my Saturday watched list...
Night Of The Lepus - GIANT, KILLER, GENETICALLY MUTATED RABBITS!!! There's no real gore, just blood that looks more like red paint and some close-ups of ferocious, bloody rabbits. The actual attacks (a guy in a rabbit suit) are my personal favorites. Loved it!
Last night I watched...
The Nightmare Before Christmas - Modern classic goodness. Of course I also had to watch Vincent and Frankenweinie. I enjoy those almost as much as Nightmare. I wish Vincent was longer though.
The Holy Mountain (1973)- Wow, what a trip!!! Disturbingly beautiful images that make a David Lynch film seem like a nursery rhyme. I'm still not sure what it was about, but that's ok because I'll be pondering the contents for quite some time, as it's somewhat of a Zen-like journey. This flick definitely deserves your attention if you haven't yet seen it.

I just ordered Mind Slime - a local B-movie production. I've been communicating with the Director (Henry Weintraub) about possibly working on his next project. Wish me luck folks!
Yesterday I watched five shorts from above director...
The Death Of Henry Weintraub
Split
Video Dead
Backyard Barbecue Horror
Inzomniac
These are all available to watch on 531Productions.com (http://www.531productions.com/videos.html)
Just bought seasons 1 & 2 of Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends for my wife & son and watched the first seven episodes. It's starting to grow on me.
Last night I watched...
Fido - Loved it!!! It's kinda like DOTD meets The Andy Griffith Show. Good zombie effects, brilliant color scheme and an original story make this one for the collection.
1408 - I liked it. Quite effective. This one had me white knuckled for most of the ride.
Good luck DF:)

Last night I watched...
Childs Play - Haven't see it in years.
The Quiet Family - This is a strange little black comedy from Korea. A family buys a lodge in the mountains and anybody that stays there ends up dead and the family tries to cover up to stay in business. Pretty good.

I saw a special screening of Saw 4 last night @ the drive in...
You know, for a 4th installment of a movie, it was pretty good. You got to see Jigsaws complete back history, alot of questions we're answered but alot of things we're left open...but thats why theres going to be 2 more Saw movies (I heard).
I give it....7.5/10.
The Blind Dead

I'm finishing up...
Karate Bull Fighter - Man, fun & wild karate action! Actually, it's much deeper than a lot of Sonny Chiba's other exploitation films but it does have its share of blood and violence. I'm pretty damn eager to start in on the sequel, Karate Bear Fighter.

Goosebumps has been playing on Cartoon Network. I'd have to say I used to love this show when I was younger. Used to scare the crap out of me. It was great watching it though. I'm not sure if its just because its October and Halloween is coming up, but I hope they keep playing it even after Halloween.
