Is there a BAND called Zombi?

I read this interview from one of my favorite bands:

And it lead me to believe there's also a BAND by the name Zombi, considering they mentioned Goblin as a similar artist right afterwards.

"Phil Manley: They were playing this band called Zombi when we first walked in. They're really eerie in a goblin / John Carpenter kind of way. Instrumental soundtrack music. It was perfect. We were automatically creeped out by the place."

Think they're just confusing the original soundtrack for a band's name?

Some might find this interesting, too. I noticed their songs were in the bonus featurette from the 2004 remake, and they were creditted, but I didn't know they weren't paid.

Some of your tracks appeared on the soundtrack for the remake of Dawn Of The Dead. Please tell me about that.

"Tim Soete: Yeah, nine of them. But they just made it on the extras. They still haven't paid us for it. They haven't even given us a free DVD. But I have seen the movie and thought it's pretty good. It would've been nice to actually have had it in the film. But they'd already taken care of that."

Yeah, there's a band called Zombi and they just played here in Seattle but I totally missed them. Booooo!

Yep...They have a pretty retro prog-rock thing going. Loads of analog synths and stuff. Worth checking out!
