Hi I'm planning to start writing films and filming them and I recently realised how horrible the sound is on the "family" camcorder so I am planning to get a microphone to deal with this. the only problem ios compatibility issues are there any? my camera is a sony DCR-HC40E camcorder and I am planning to get a Sony ECM-MSD1 Stereo Microphone does anyone know if they are compatible or know of a better microphone any help would be appreciated and I promise to make some kick ass films!:)
