i think they measure in Celsius, not Fahrenheit...so 90 Celsius in UK would mean everyone would literally be cooking...not sure how to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius and vice versa though....Im not sure if it ever reaches 90 up there...does it? spiral, pain, sado...care to chime in on the question?

I love celsius. It actually makes sense, as opposed to farenheit.

To convert from farenheit to celsius, use the following formula: (x-32) / 1.8
For celsius to farenheit use this: (x*1.8) + 32

An example: Average body temp is 98.6 farenheit. 98.6-32=66.6. 66.6 divided by 1.8=37. 37 is average body temp in celsius.

In response to your earlier question, if the air temp was 90 celsius, they'd be dead. 90*1.8=162. 162+32=194. I seriously doubt if your average human could cope with an air temp of 194 farenheit.

I went to boot camp up there at Great Lakes back in October thru December of 1990 and I remember it being cold as hell!! I thought that was as bad as it could get, until I discovered the wonderful frigid temps of the North Atlantic in February!!! Now THAT'S freakin' cold!!!!!!

We had some major floods in this state in the last week. Huge rainfalls have flooded a lot of roads, schools have been closed, people have been evacuated from their homes, and itlots of major highways and interstates have been closed down or redirected. It was acually pretty nice this morning in the mid 50s, but then it rained in the afternoon (although it was still good weather for shorts), and now there's a tornado warning for the western part of where I live. Hopefully it will pass my area, but who knows?

On Friday it was 81 degrees which is incredibly hot considering we've not had the best weather this Spring. It's been a bit chilly in the mornings and warming up around noon. I'm hoping that it doesn't get too hot because summer camp will be miserable while wearing ACUs in hot weather.

The weather reports said that we were to expect 4-7 inches, but now they are downing grading a bit to 2-4 inches... It all depends how far north the storm tracks.

That was on our news tonight. They said people were treated for hyperthermia. Thank god no one was seriously hurt or killed though. The pilot must have done a great job landing the plane level. There were pictures of everyone standing on the wings waiting to be rescued. It looked kinda cool.
