So I was talking to my good friend Kevin on the phone the other night and, as usual, our conversation turned to zombie films. Nothing new there; we’re both total zombie freaks and our conversations could probably make even the geekiest gamer cringe in sympathy for our combined nerdiness.
Anyway, Kevin mentioned that, quite a few years ago, he’d come across a survey in a horror mag which asked the question: “Who would you want to protect you in the event of a zombie apocalypse?” The multiple choices below listed everyone from Ash of the Evil Dead series, to Cemetery Man’s Francesco Dellamorte. Unfortunately, at the time that the survey was printed, the Australian film Undead had not yet been released. Had it been, my vote would definitely and without hesitation have gone for Marion.
Marion, despite the somewhat girly name, is all man. A weirdo hillbilly recluse living just beyond the town limits of Berkeley, Australia, Marion was a pretty regular guy, happily married and running a bait shop. But then came the day that Marion was attacked by killer zombie fish and then kidnapped by aliens. I hate it when that happens.
