Abortion.
Touchy word right? Yeah that’s the kind of word you drop at a party and you can literally feel the gazes from everybody in the room burning through your thick skull like a high-powered laser. It’s the kind of word that divides family and friends and can lead to broken hearts. I’ve even been “privileged” enough to see the word bring people to blows. You’re either pro-life or pro-choice and to some there is no in between…there’s no middle ground.
I’m asked all the time by people what my opinion is on the subject and I think many ask because they assume a fan of entertainment, film and Hollywood will be liberal. It’s always my pleasure to shock them by giving them exactly what they want…and then taking it away. My response is usually, “I believe in pro-choice. Every woman should have the right to do what she wants with her body…even if that means terminating an unborn child’s life.”
