Hey guys, I'm hoping you all can help me out here.
I'm attempting to make a cover for one of our fellow ATZ members for his release of the 1968 version of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and I'm having a lot of trouble.
There is actually very little on this film for pictures on the web and there's nothing that really strikes me as being good enough to be used as an image on the front of a DVD cover. So - post pictures from the movie, or that remind you of it, to try and help me out so I can get this cover done!!!
Thanks in advance!

I would suggest you just pop the film into your computer, and take screen caps.
In fact, If you would like me to do some screen caps for you, let me know and i'll have them to you in a day or so.

I don't know about the pictures you need, but the cover looks terrific already! Keep up the good work!

That also look great, but as Morto-Vivo said, it would look better if the face was black & white too.

The first one was very good. It looked like it came from that era and that would tell the customers when the movie was made too. You must match the time, so keep that in mind. Anything modern would throw them off.

Agreed.
I really liked the first one - nice retro feel to it.
Can you clarify why your friend needs the cover? Is he re-releasing another version of NOTLD?

It's actually for someone on here who is looking to replace his cover for NOTLD. I never wanted to try to tackle this movie because I always thought it would be very hard for me to really do it justice. It's difficult but as you guys see I'm playing with ideas...guess we'll see what the final product will be soon enough.

Well, good work. Keep it up! Just beware of the copyright people! :scare:

I really liked the first cover. I loved the part on the back where Johnny gets his skulled opened. If I was making a cover I would absoutly use that pic.
