Now…I know this is going to blow some of your minds right out yer asses but zombie films are pretty much all the same. Sure George Romero showed independent filmmakers that the zombie film can be just as socially relevant as any left-wing documentary or alternative indie arthouse film but seriously…MOST zombie flick filmmakers are doing nothing more than regurgitating the same old same old. I’ve called many cowards before and I stand by that. Now don’t get me wrong I love flesh-eating shamblers just as much as the next diehard horror dork but man…YAWN-O-RAMA!

I suppose the lack of originality in the sub-genre is one of the biggest reasons why I’m always finding myself enjoying the “not-so-typical” zombie flicks like The Stink of Flesh, Bone Sickness, Shadows of the Dead, I, Zombie, Zombie Honeymoon, Necropolis Awakened and more! While none of the above could certainly be called masterpieces, I’d have to say they at least TRIED to offer us something new.

I don’t know about some of you but I’m so goddamn tired of the “run, hide, barricade & fight” formula because...[READ MORE HERE] (http://www.joehorror.com/0000644.html)

I've been hearing quite a bit about this, so i'm glad it appears to be worth watching. It's also nice to see a Greek movie getting a bit of exposure, especially without the need for that bloody Zorba the Greek tune:lol:

I think it was extremely well made. it looked better than 95% of the American low budget zombie flicks I've seen. It just didn't stick for me.

I pretty much have to agree with the review. This movie didn't seem to know what it wanted to be. I think the dark comedy crossed the line into farcical. It doesn't waste much time getting into the action...that is good I guess.

The characters have as much depth as a Lindsay Lohan/Paris Hilton debate. The cabbie was funny I guess...Everyone else acted like cardboard cutouts in The Lonely Guy.

I thought it had some good violence and I was a bit surprised by some of the deaths. The final shot (the film ended too quickly) was top notch.

2.5 out of 5 and I'm feeling generous. I won't say don't see it...there are some redeeming qualities to the movie, just not enough for me to get excited about. I was hoping for more. Hoping for more than you get in a Zombie movie...wait, they weren't zombies were they?

Demon possessed I thought but even that point was pretty shady.

It was a good movie, just the whole story seemed a bit shallow. Definetly better than most of the recent stuff I've seen. The movie was the right length but used to much of it's time having us watch people run around. Would've been nice to use a few minutes to maybe explain the beginning or revisit the site somehow. Ah, still... an alright movie worth watching.

I'd say worth renting at the very least once.
