I'm already working on a screenplay for a zombie video and I was starting to really think inside the budget, then it occurred to me why not rotoscope it. The locations I want to use can't shut down during buissnes hours so if I'm rotoscoping it then I just make it daytime outside(even if it's 3am). Plus think of all the huge shots of the ghost towns, public buildings etc. you can easily cover anything that shouldn't be there like functional lights on main street, by standers, microphone etc. I have a BFA in fine arts mostly painting but I took two years of video. In fact I already made a short (in roto)of me dancing the macarena in all these strange places. it was only 3 minutes and I damn near gave myself carpotunnel syndrome making it. Unless I get help with the animating I can't see this getting done before 2015. Unless I quit my day job. Anyways if anyone knows of a good program to use (for the animating) I would appreciate any advice. Or if this has sparked any ideas or feedback, that's cool too.
