"I waited until after Halloween to start this on purpose. A lot of folks in here, like me, attend functions such as Sci Fi Conventions, SCA, and other Events outside of Halloween."
"The point of this thread? Ever spent hours, days, weeks, months, even years, searching for that perfect pattern to complete a costume? Well here is a place to ask your fellow posters if they can help." :)
"My search is for a few. One is the Trench Coat that the Creation wears in 'Mary Shelly's Frankenstein'. I'm also seeking a pattern I can use to make a Jack Skellington Costume for Dark Comic, (My Husband) and one I can use to make a Edward Scissorhands for him too. I'm also seeking full length pictures, from as many sides as possible of all three costumes. Anyone out there able to help?"
"Anyone else seeking elusive patterns, feel free to join the hunt." :)

I don't but I can think of some cool designs that could help. Anyone need anything in particular? I am good at finding this stuff. My grandmother works at one of Rhode Islands most famous fancy cloths stores and gets fabrics all the time. Doesn't mind giving them out!

"Yes, you can. I buy it at fabric stores all the time. Fake fur is easy to find." :)

"One thing you might be able to help me with is pictures. I have been trying to find full length pictures, (Front, side and back.) of the different costumes. A few of them I could just make with enough of the right pictures." :)

I could not find any actual patterns, and edward scissor hands was elusive. Jack skellington...while too skinny for any human haha... didnt have any full back front side photos. but he is animated, so i figure a close up of a toy would be adequite...maybe not. http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NC32687#LargeImage

"That is a start. Thank you. And Jack isn't too skinny for Dark Comic to wear/portray, he's real thin." ;-)
"I'm thinking of seeing if a fellow poster, jackskellington, can take some close-up pictures of some of the toys. He collects them."
