Well this one will be about 20-30 minutes long and production has begun. A lot is riding on this movie...basically it's my ticket for a scholarship. I know a professor and he says if all goes well this movie could end up getting me a scholarship. The movie should be done in a month or two but I can't wait for the final project!

STORY:

http://www.freewebs.com/hacproductions/thedead.htm

After the death of a loved animal Nick is invited by his best friend Billy to stay the night. But as they sleep the dead rise by an unknown force and evil. When they awake something isn't right in the air and things have been changed. And they realize the horrible truth...the dead have come back to life. When a stranger arrives and presents them "The Zombie Survival Guide" they think that they will be safe, but the dead learn and evolve...and the true horror is unleashed...AHH Don't get scared! I mean it in a good way!

Sounds like a big story to tackle but you show a ton of promise. Good luck.

I finally get to see our finished movie in 3 weeks and can't wait. It should be about the same running time as yours. It definitely was a learning experience and I'm glad to be done with my part. Waiting on sound editing with the score and sound effects, right now.

-Make sure you have a good idea on the shots you want, preferbly mapped out on your shooting location.
-Make sure you have all your props and some extra supplies. We shot at a remote location. We ended up using a piece of pickle for an olive and kool-aid instead of food coloring when we ran out at the wrong time and couldn't find a place that stocked food coloring nearby.

Good luck

Thanks man and we do. I planned it out before I wrote the script. And I draw stick figure frames and things as I write. Yeah it's all planned out lol. This is going to be great!

Is that footage at the outset of the opening credits stock footage or is it new?

Looks familiar, but it could just be similar and not identical
