Zombie Commandos From Hell
[WARNING: Mature Audiences Only]
| BACKGROUND |
In 2143AD, the world is very different from the world we now live in, yet it is but an amplification of all the current conflicts and disasters which afflict our world. By then, the majorty of the world's nations have collapsed under economic pressures, invasions and dried up natural resources. The Rain Forest has become a barren desert, Africa's population has been depleted by famine, war and radio-activity, Europe and Asia are also patched with radio-activity, Japan has shut itself from the world like Australia, and north america is plunged into chaos.
Primitives fighting with 21st Century weapons and medieval arms over dwindling natural resources. The US and Canada are fractured into a multitude of warring clans, invading each other, being assimilated or destroyed by the more powerfull factions. Outcasts and seekers of freedom have joined roaming nomad parties who scour the bad lands between the war zones, relying on primal instincts and cannibalism to survive. Some factions have hoarded military equipment and rule over more primitive territories through sheer power, while others are centered around spiritual leaders promising a brighter future.

The first victims of the undead plague were made where bodies had been piling up for a while, mainly in the intense war zones surrounding the expansionist colonies. Every hospital, fresh grave and battlefield became a spawning ground for undead soldiers with full recollection of their past lives but now possessed by demons who inspired hate for all living humans.
The faction known as the First Colony quickly finds itself unable to cope with the enemy within its borders and only a few survivors escape, hoping to find refuge with the Nomads. Where they end up is Holy City, a mysteriously now-deserted city run by religious fanatics who somehow figured out how to thwart the undead menace.
A visceral kick to the back of your head! Talk about starting off with a bang! Right from the opening, ZCFH attacks you with loads of graphic gut-munching gore and zombie destruction and never lets up! The art of Steph Dumais and guest DB Velveeda is superb, and seems to be perfect for this type of splatter gorefest. Very cool stuff! Pick up your copy here!

The cultist's stronghold has been breached by the undead
hordes, but most of the zombies have been defeated by
the Holy Serum. The nomads take this opportunity to infiltrate
the stronghold themselves but what twist of faith awaits
them inside? What of our female champion? It's boobs,
buns and more steaming hot blood spilled into the dirt!
Will the new flesh will be conquered!
There's no guest artists for this issue, it's 100% the
work of Steph Dumais. That's fine by me because I love
his artwork! This third issue is much more focused on
the storyline than the action, but it's a nice change
of pace from the first two issues which were more action-oriented.
From the way this one ends, though, it certainly looks
like issue #4 will be a barrage of guts and flying flesh.
Also included in this issue is the mini-comic Attack
of the Satanic Flesh-eating Mutant. Definitely pick
it up here
if you haven't already!
